Trains resume between Kiama and Nowra after fire

Train services have resumed between Kiama and Nowra, three hours after a grass fire forced the cancellation of all services.

A replacement bus service had been in place as Rural Fire Service crews extinguished a fire in the rail corridor between Harley Hill Road and Beach Road in Berry.

CityRail has said trains will begin running again from 3.24pm.

Rural Fire Service crews also attended a small scrub fire in Armagh Parade, Thirroul this afternoon.
